Stevenage Borough sign Murphy

Stevenage Borough has signed 22yr old midfielder Darren Murphy from Cork City on a short-term contract.

Murphy will not be able to play for Stevenage until January, but has joined the club till the end of the season.

“This is a fresh start for me, I think it’s a good time to go,” said Murphy.

“I am sure I will miss Cork and I’d like to thank the fans for their wonderful support, but this is a chance to win a full-time deal in England.”
